A quick tutorial that illustrates the steps in creating a button from scratch using KoolMoves/KoolShow Html5 animation software. The three button states (mouse not over button, mouse over button, mouse clicked on button) are created and audio is attached to the over and down states. Javascript using CreateJS animation code is associated with clicking on the button that will write text to the screen when the button is clicked.
Starting audio from a button is now the only reliable way to attach audio to a movie. Audio cannot be reliably started from a key frame or started automatically when the movie starts.
